Please note:

  • Read the PDF titled 'Instructions' (violin/viola only)
  • Recordings may need to be downloaded to play. Not all browsers support these file types.
  • Candidates should carefully consider their priorities as other activities may conflict with scheduled NSCE activities. These conflicts must be worked out prior to joining the group. At the audition, candidates will be asked to identify any possible conflicts.
  • Parents are required to provide transportation to and from all public performances. As well, they are responsible for ensuring that their child is prepared for each public performance and attired according to the dress code for their child’s group. Please do not underestimate this commitment... we have many performances in Vancouver and area to which you will need to drive your musicians!

The North Shore Celtic Ensemble has a dual mandate: To inspire youth to do more and go further with music, and to use music to build and strengthen community connections. We are a non-profit society and registered charity.
